Proper tennis shoes must be worn – remember: it’s a clay court.

You can book as often as you like – on whatever days you want – for however many hours you want – at any time you want – but you must pay for however many hours you book.

Any bookings more than 7 days in advance must be paid for in advance. You may book fixed times & days. For example, every Friday at so & so time for 2 weeks, or a month, or a year – whatever.

Players who cancel on the same day as their reservation must still pay the court fees.

The court is available from 7:00 until 10:00am – then is closed down for routine daily maintenance – and is open again from 4:00pm until 11:00pm – 7 days a week.

“Paid” coaching; “paid” hitting partners, etc., is not allowed during the 4:00-5:00, 5:00-6:00, 6:00-7:00 or 7:00-8:00pm time slots. All other times, no problem.

Please note: On Sundays, "paid" sessions are allowed during any of the normal scheduled hours (it's not busy enough here on Sundays to exclude the afternoon times.)

You must stop playing 5 minutes before your time is up – because my staff will then immediately re-sweep the court with the wide brooms and also sweep off the lines. This takes about 5-7 minutes.

The purpose for this is so that every time new players start their time, the court has been returned to "fresh and new" – line calls become much easier and all rough spots from the previous hour's play are smoothed out.

So, my staff will signal you at the 5 minute mark – and at that point I ask you to respect what we're trying to do and stop play immediately. Don't say "just let us hit a few more balls" or you will be cutting the next players' time short – not fair.  (Please wait for them to finish sweeping before you try to pay – or the whole timing gets thrown off and screwed up.)

Drinks, new balls and new grips are available on the court at all times. Pricing is posted on the court.

Re-stringing service is available for a Rp. 50,000 fee plus whatever the string you want costs – which means you can give us your racket and we'll take it to Istora and get the job done.

Three other services are available:

If you would like me to drill you for an hour on the court (which means hitting you a couple hundred balls) so that you can practice and improve whatever strokes you like, I am happy to do that with you for the normal court fee of Rp. 50,000 – no charge for me.

If you would like us to video you during that time and provide you a DVD so that you can study it/learn from it, we’re happy to do that for an additional Rp. 50,000 fee. Many players find this extremely helpful. (Videos can only effectively be made while you’re drilling with someone, not while you’re playing a game.)

There are at least 3 professional tennis teachers available here for you to hire as coaches, game partners, hitting/drilling or whatever. Just ask me.

My house is next to the court – the bathroom, shower and swimming pool are always available for a player's use.
