Hi-
For those of you who want to play tennis here, you only need to know a few things:
It doesn’t matter what language you speak – or whether you’re male or female – all are welcome.
You can play singles with your own partner (or possibly I can introduce you to someone); you can create your own doubles; you can reserve the court for yourself while you practice with the ball machine; or practice your serves; hire one of our freelance coaches; or whatever. It doesn’t matter what level tennis you play – you are welcome to use the court.
***
You need to reserve the court in advance. You can sign up for as many sessions per week as you like.
***
The charge is Rp. 80,000 (about US$8.00) per hour of court use – not per player. The court is available from 7:00am until 11:00am – then is closed down for routine daily maintenance – and is open again from 3:00pm until 10:00pm – 7 days a week.
***
Sharing the court with you makes my soul smile.
Selamat Datang.
Cheers,
Steve
P.S. I live in Java now. I’m sitting on a small mountain over-looking hundreds of thousands of coconut trees and, of course, the ocean (yeah, I love making people jealous). I’m trying to finish writing a book that I promised everyone I would finish before I’m buried.
For the record, the photo you see of me on this page is probably about 15 years old – and I like it better than how I look now (at 66 years old), so it stays.
What’s this all mean to you. The master bedroom in my Bali house is available to rent on a monthly basis. If you’re interested in a place to stay, along with the ability to play tennis, have a look:
